This community aims to raise awareness among students about environmental issues and climate change. Through various activities and projects, it encourages students to actively contribute to climate action and environmental sustainability.
As the youth branch of the TEMA Foundation (The Turkish Foundation for Combating Soil Erosion, Reforestation, and the Protection of Natural Assets), this community focuses on environmental conservation and sustainable practices. Its activities include educating the public on the importance of ecological balance, afforestation, and raising awareness about climate variability and change.
This community is dedicated to promoting sustainable agricultural practices. It also seeks to support the promotion of agriculture and foster connections within the sector.
The primary goal of the Cycling Community is to encourage the use of bicycles by students and staff, especially for commuting to and from campus. Through city and countryside cycling tours, the community promotes a healthy lifestyle and cultivates a cycling culture within the university community.
This community organizes activities to familiarize students with campus flora and promote plant conservation. One of its key projects involves creating photo zones around campus to encourage appreciation and protection of campus vegetation. The community also conducts fieldwork, awareness campaigns, and training sessions to enhance environmental sensitivity and teach students how to engage with institutions regarding environmental responsibilities.
